How paying at Coddley works, from checkout to your statement.
Ways to pay
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which can include major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal. Checkout is processed by Shopify on an encrypted connection; we never see or store your full card number.
Currency and taxes
All prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax that applies to your address is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Shipping within the US is free, so there's no shipping charge on your bill.
When you're charged
Your payment method is charged when you place your order. The order confirmation email is your receipt and lists every item, the tax and the total.
Billing name and address
Use the name and billing address your card provider has on file. If they don't match, your bank may decline the payment, or we may contact you to confirm the order before it ships.
How the charge appears
Look for "Coddley" on your card or bank statement. Don't recognise a charge? Email us before disputing it and we'll help right away.
Declined or held payments
If a payment is declined or flagged for review, the order is held and we email you. If we can't confirm it within 3 business days, we cancel it and release any authorisation.
Refunds to your account
Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 7 business days of us receiving the return or cancelling the order. Your bank may take a few extra days to post it. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
